Oneplus 12 Antutu benchmark score reveal with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

OnePlus is known for its flagship killer smartphones that offer premium features at affordable prices. The company has recently teased its upcoming OnePlus 12 model, which is expected to launch soon in December 2023. The OnePlus 12 will be the first widely available phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the latest and most powerful processor from Qualcomm. The phone has also been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking website, revealing its impressive performance and specifications.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3: The Beast of a Processor

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is the successor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which powers the OnePlus 11 and other flagship devices. The new processor is based on a 4nm process technology, which offers improved performance and efficiency. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features a Kryo 780 CPU with eight cores, an Adreno 730 GPU, a Hexagon 790 DSP, a Spectra 680 ISP, and a Snapdragon X65 5G modem. The processor supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is designed to deliver a superior user experience across various scenarios, such as gaming, photography, video, AI, and connectivity. The processor can handle up to 200 MP cameras, 8K video recording and playback, an HDR10+ display, Dolby Vision and Atmos audio, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. The processor also supports Quick Charge 5 technology, which can charge a device from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes.

The OnePlus 12 is confirmed to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, making it one of the most powerful smartphones on the market. The phone has scored over 2 million points on the AnTuTu benchmarking website, surpassing the Xiaomi Mi14’s score of around 1.9 million points. The phone has also scored high on the CPU, GPU, memory, and UX tests, showing its balanced and comprehensive performance.

The OnePlus 12 is not only a beast in terms of performance but also in terms of design and features. The phone is expected to sport a DisplayMate A+-rated X1 “Oriental Screen” with a resolution of 2K and a peak brightness level of 2,600 nits. The “Oriental Screen” is claimed to be backed by Oppo’s first-generation Display P1 chip and comes with 18 DisplayMate A+ records. The screen will also support a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The OnePlus 12 will likely pack a massive battery of 5,400 mAh with support for both wired and wireless fast charging. The phone will support up to 100W wired charging and up to 50W wireless charging, making it one of the fastest-charging phones in the world. The phone will also run on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14, which will offer a smooth and customized user interface.

The OnePlus 12 will also excel in the camera department, as it is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup with a Sony IMX966 sensor as the primary lens. The main camera will have a resolution of 50 MP and will be accompanied by a Sony IMX581 sensor with an ultra-wide telephoto lens of 48 MP. The third camera will be an OmniVision OV64B sensor with a resolution of 64 MP and support for 3x optical zoom and hybrid zoom. The front camera will be a Sony IMX616 sensor with a resolution of 32 MP.

The OnePlus 12 will also offer other premium features such as stereo speakers, IP68 water and dust resistance, NFC, dual SIM support, and more. The phone will be available in multiple color options and storage variants. The phone is expected to be priced competitively, as per the tradition of OnePlus.
