NFC communicates with each other using the radio waves, and these waves are generated using the antenna. Using these antennas, these devices are able to connect with each other. It transfers the data through radio waves, to allow communication between two devices.
NFC started making headlines in 2002 with Philips and Sony. Then in 2006, the Nokia 6131 phone was the first device to provide NFC functionally and since then continued to develop.
Google Pay has recently launched a new feature in India, “Tap to pay for UPI”, in collaboration with Pine Labs. And this feature makes use of the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
